The Suburbs Services R500 Pick n Pay Shopping Voucher Giveaway – Official Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By entering this competition (“Competition”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you should not enter the Competition.

1. The Promoter:
   The Competition is promoted by The Suburbs Services (The Suburbs Services Pty Ltd.), with its registered address at Plumstead, Cape Town, South Africa, (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility:
   2.1. This Competition is open to all residents of the Republic of South Africa who are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
   2.2. The Competition is not open to employees, directors, members, partners, agents, or consultants of the Promoter, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or their immediate family members, business partners, or associates.
   2.3. By entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
3. Competition Period:
   3.1. The Competition will run from 1 June 2025 to 31 July 2025 at 23:59 SAST.
   3.2. No entries received after the closing date and time will be considered.
4. How to Enter:
   To constitute a valid entry, participants must complete ALL of the following steps:
   4.1. Subscribe:
   Visit the competition landing page and successfully subscribe to The Suburbs Services newsletter by providing your first name and a valid email address.
   4.2. Like/Follow:
   a. Like the official The Suburbs Services page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076222236683).
   b. Follow the official The Suburbs Services page on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/thesuburbsservices/).
   4.3. Share & Tag:
   After subscribing, you will be directed to a thank-you page containing a link to the official competition post. You must:
   a. Share this specific competition post to your personal Facebook or Instagram profile.
   b. The shared post must be set to ‘Public’ view to allow for verification.
   c. In the caption of your shared post, you must tag three (3) friends.
   4.4. Only entries that have completed all the above steps will be deemed valid and entered into the draw. One entry per person is permitted.
5. The Prize:
   5.1. One (1) winner will receive one (1) R500 (five hundred Rand) Pick n Pay shopping voucher.
   5.2. The specific terms of use, participating stores, and expiry date of the voucher will be determined by the voucher provider and communicated to the winner upon claiming the prize.
   5.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize.
   5.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equivalent value without giving notice.
6. Winner Selection and Notification:
   6.1. The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
   6.2. The draw will take place within seven (7) working days after the closing date of the Competition.
   6.3. The Promoter will verify that the selected winner has complied with all entry requirements stipulated in Clause 4.
   6.4. The winner will be notified via the email address provided upon newsletter subscription within 48 hours of the draw. The Promoter may also attempt to contact the winner via direct message on Facebook or Instagram.
   6.5. The winner must respond and confirm their acceptance of the prize, and provide proof of identity and a delivery address, within 72 hours of the Promoter’s first notification attempt.
   6.6. If a winner fails to respond within the stipulated 72-hour period, or if a winner is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn from the remaining valid entries.
7. Data Privacy and Protection (POPIA):
   7.1. By entering this Competition, you consent to the Promoter processing your personal information (name, email address, social media handle) for the purposes of administering this Competition and for future marketing communications via the newsletter you have subscribed to.
   7.2. The Promoter will comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Your personal information will not be shared with any third party without your prior consent.
   7.3. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the email. Unsubscribing before the winner is drawn will render your entry invalid.
   7.4. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to their name and social media handle being published on the Promoter’s digital platforms (including website, Facebook, and Instagram).
8. General Terms:
   8.1. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
   8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice, should unforeseen circumstances arise.
   8.3. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (Facebook or Instagram). You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Meta.
   8.4. The Promoter, its associated companies, and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) in connection with this Competition, the promotion of this Competition, or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
   8.5. By entering the Competition, all participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
   8.6. This Competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
